It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to my photographic world. Of Belgian origin and passionate self-taught, my journey into the world of photography began in 2010, after finishing my sound engineering studies. Driven by the soul of an artist, I acquired my first second-hand camera and explored various facets of photography, from urban landscapes to portraits, including nature. It was by setting down my suitcases in Provence that my love  for nature and landscape photography fully flourished. In Montpellier, I perfected my technique by capturing the beauty of the ponds and the Cévennes, while losing myself in nature alongside photographer friends. Travel has also been an inexhaustible source of inspiration, from the Basque coasts of Spain to the majestic Dolomites, including the vast expanses of Scotland. The year 2022 marked a turning point for this great passion, with my selection in the prestigious international competition "The International Landscape Photographer of The Year", where I had the honor of receiving a special prize. This recognition encourages me to continue to push my limits and explore new artistic avenues. In 2023, I learned that one of my images won another award for "UK Landscape Photographer of the year". It is an honor to have my images selected among many talented photographers. If I had to describe my photographic approach, I would describe it as a quest for atmosphere, where darkness often meets bright light to achieve a fabulous complementarity. My images are the result of a lot of patience, careful thought about composition, mood and framing, while seeking to capture the extraordinary in simplicity.
